When I first came to the United States in the summer of 1993, it quickly became clear to me that many people here need to get out more. They would aske me questions like – “Did you live in a house in Africa”, “What kind of clothes did you wear”, “Does everyone back home look like you”, in addition to many other dumb questions. Fast forward to nearly 20 years later and things haven’t changed that much. Even with the internet and social media, people still don’t work to learn about the other people in the world.
