I’m writing this blog on my Android phone. This is the beauty of technology. You are free to blog anywhere! You don’t have to be tied to a computer anymore! I just found out that getingo.com is ranked #3 worldwide, by Google when the term ‘black male model’ is searched . The other two websites are blogs which feature different black male models for each daily post. It’s a pretty big deal for a one-person site to be ranked so high. Such a high ranking is paramount to my ‘most downloaded black male model’ moniker.
People ask me constantly what the X-factor for me in this business is, and I tell them that I can sum it up in one word; my brain. I’m the biggest nerd I know. There are many other male models and guys who are not male models, that would be considered to have stronger faces or are more ripped than I am, but they don’t have my brain. They are not able to decode the game in order to stay ahead of it. I can do search engine optimization for my website, I can edit images and video and upload them, I’ relenless with all of it. I have been able to figure out what works for me in the business. I figured out how to be successful, happy and maintain control. It doesn’t hurt that I know computers inside and out, so I’m able to understand how to market and promote my brand online. I study internet marketing intensely.
Being the perfectionist that I am, I won’t be able to rest until I get to #1. Something tells me that even when I do get to #1, I’ll still be hustling to keep that top ranking. Everybody is vying for that top ranking, so you can’t rest when you get there. I have to continue writing and blogging in addition to uploading images and videos, as well pushing other bloggers to write about me. It all adds up. Online marketing and promotion is one venture where grinding directly pays off.
