This is a story of another human being forgetting that pound-for-pound, we are one of the weakest species of mammals on earth. The American student in this story was nearly mauled to death by Chimpanzees in South Africa. The University of Texas student, Andrew Oberly, was doing research for his master’s degree when he was attacked. Chimpanzees are wild and vicious animals. Each male Chimpanzee has the strength of about 7 men and Oberly was attacked by two of them.
