A MIDNIGHT WINTER’S RUN: HOW TO GET LEAN FOR A PHOTO SHOOT OR EVENT

Black male model Ngo Okafor 2013

I have a video and photo shoot today for a new exercise product, which will hit the market soon. We are negotiating terms for me to become the face of the product on TV and other media. I’ve been preparing for the shoot for a few days. I’ve stepped up my ab and cardio regimens for the past few days in order to guarantee that I’m at my leanest at the time of the shoot. I have also cut back on my carbohydrate intake. I feel ready. I will post pictures from the shoot once I get to the set. Stay tuned.

Many male and female models do severe water restriction in order to achieve maximum leanness. Many even take ‘water pills’ or diuretics. I don’t like severe water restriction , because being extremely dehydrated causes me to cramp up. I have never used ‘water pills’ or diuretics either. I choose to train harder. This is why I went out for a 4 mile run last night, a little after midnight.

Weight loss is a highly controversial use of water pills. Water is heavy and can contribute to a puffy or overweight appearance, so removing excess water is one way to shed pounds and look a little trimmer. Celebrities often use techniques to shed water weight before photo shoots and other events for this reason.

Using diuretics in this way is problematic for multiple reasons. They can create electrolyte imbalances because of how they affect sodium and potassium levels, which can cause problems such as muscle cramps and irregular heartbeat. Problems such as dizziness and fainting can happen if dehydration and a drop in blood pressure are too extreme. Lastly, the body naturally will try to replenish its supply of water once diuretic use ends, so weight loss under this method is not sustainable.

Psychologists and psychiatrists are especially concerned about the use of both water pills and laxatives in cases of anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. Even though these medications are not meant to be taken for an extremely long time even in cases of medical necessity, individuals suffering from these conditions use them over extended periods to keep weight as low as possible. Stopping the use often means working through intense mental and behavioral issues such as distorted body image.

Stay safe and continue to work hard!!

THE DOG ATE MY HOMEWORK: MOST UNUSUAL EXCUSES FOR BEING LATE TO WORK

Ngo Okafor photo shoot at Peak Performance

Early on in my career as a model and actor, I had a reputation for being late. Part of it was cultural (in African culture, extreme lateness is accepted), but most of it was just poor time management. I’m never late now though!!!! Getting ready for work may take a few minutes for some or a few hours for others. No matter how long it takes you to head out the door, there may be some days when it seems as though the clock’s against you. According to a new CareerBuilder study, 26 percent of workers admit to being tardy at least once a month, and 16 percent are late once a week or more.

“Employers understand that every now and again circumstances will arise that are out of a worker’s control and, unfortunately, cause a late arrival to work,” says Rosemary Haefner, vice president of human resources at CareerBuilder. “It escalates to a problem when the behavior becomes repetitive, causing employers to take disciplinary action. More than one-third of hiring managers reported they had to fire someone for being late.”

Excuses, excuses
Hiring managers shared some of the most memorable excuses they’ve heard from employees who were late getting to the office. While 31 percent of workers pointed to traffic as the most common cause for tardiness, some answers were more memorable than a bad commute:

    • Employee dropped her purse into a coin-operated newspaper box and couldn’t retrieve it without change — which was in the purse.

    • Employee accidentally left the apartment with his roommate’s girlfriend’s shoes on and had to go back to change.

    • Employee’s angry wife had frozen his truck keys in a glass of water in the freezer.

    • Employee got a late start because she was putting a raincoat on her concrete duck in her front yard, because rain was expected later that day.

    • Employee’s car wouldn’t start because the device measuring blood-alcohol level showed he was intoxicated.

    • Employee attempted to cut his own hair before work and the clippers stopped working, so he had to wait until the barber shop opened to fix his hair.

    • Employee’s car was attacked by a bear. (Employee had photographic evidence.)

    • Employee drove to her previous employer by mistake.

    • Employee claimed to have delivered a stranger’s baby on the side of the highway.

Avoiding a late arrival

The key to being punctual and avoiding your employer’s frustration is to understand your schedule and be prepared. If you have free time in the evening, take advantage of the extra minutes and prepare your meals, clothes and bag or briefcase then. Likewise, if you need daylight to get moving, set the alarm for an earlier wake-up time to avoid rushing and running late. Also check how the weather may affect your commute, and leave ample time to get to the office. These small steps can get you to work on time and save you from trying to come up with a believable story.

HOW TO GET SEXY MALE MODEL ABS

Ngo okafor Black male model abs

If you treat your abs like an after thought, they will look like an after thought.

Good morning all!! It’s Sunday morning, which means that another week has come to an end and another week is set begin in a few hours. Sunday is a great day to reflect on the week past and plan/get ready for the new week. My Sundays are usually spent researching ideas and articles on varying subject matters and then write about them. Today I’m going to write about how to get sexy male model abs. I don’t have to research this topic because I live it….everyday.

Abs are the key to being successful as a model. It is especially important for someone who has a desire to become a fitness model. Abs are the ultimate measure of fitness. Ripped abs shows that you have put in the work in the gym and you have discipline to eat healthy in order to get lean. In order words, it means that you are in beast mode!!

When you walk to into a modeling agency, seeking to become a fitness model, the first thing the agent will ask is for you to take off your shirt. This request is not personal. They are not trying to put you down. The truth is that if you do not have ripped, sexy abs, you cannot work as fitness model. PERIOD!!!

In this blog post today, I will share how I got my abs to become more muscular and ripped. Contrary to what many people may say, you have to treat your abs just as you would treat any other muscle in your body. You have treat your ab muscles just as you would your chest, biceps or triceps. You have to work them hard. Many people do not train their abs until the end of their workouts and then they wonder why their abs do not grow and get ripped. If you treat your abs like an after thought, they will look like an after thought.

I will share one example of my workouts in this blog today. This way, you will get a chance to try this routine without getting overwhelmed by information. When you have tried it, please write back and let me know how you fared with it. I will share more workouts shortly, so stay tuned.

No matter what movement or body part(s) that I’m working on for each day, I begin every workout by doing 20-30 minutes of cardiovascular activity on a treadmill, bike or jumping rope. I then move on to abs, before lifting any weights. To start, I do side planks for 45 seconds on each side and then I do 60 seconds in a regular plank position. After this, I move over and do the weighted rope crunches-leg raises combination. This means that I will do a set of weighted rope crunches and then go over and do a set of leg raises, without resting. The rope crunches work the muscles in the mid to upper region of the abs and leg raises work the lower region of the abs. See the pictures of the exercises below. My goal for working my abs in this routine is to get my ab muscles stronger and make them more dense by using heavy weight on the rope crunches. I would not suggest using heavy weights on leg raises because the lower ab region is weak on most people and may cause abdominal or lower back injury.

The workout is as follows:

Weighted Cable Crunches:

1 Warm up set followed by 4 Sets of 8-10 reps

Leg raises on an incline bench:

1 warm set followed by 4 sets of 10-15 reps

Stretch out your abs and then move on to your movement/body part lift for the day. ENJOY!!!

THE HYPOCRITICAL RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN AFRICANS AND BLACK AMERICANS

Beware of those black Americans. They are a wild bunch of people. They all carry guns. They are lazy. These were all words that I was told over and over, as I prepared to embark on my journey to the United States from Nigeria. Lucky for me, I was 18 years old when I came to America. My personality and character had already formed or else I would have carried these prejudices with me into my new life in America.

Be that as it may, many Africans both in America and in Africa see Black Americans or African-Americans as wild, dangerous, lazy and without culture.

How soon is it forgotten that we as Africans, freely, sold our brothers and sisters into slavery. The “colonizers” came over to Africa with their “magic-like” technology and we, Africans, quickly sold our brothers and sisters to acquire this magic. We sold them for next to nothing, to a people from a strange land, with strange traditions and speaking in an even stranger language. How can we then turn around and expect  our American brothers and sisters who were sold to strangers to now hold on to their culture and belief systems in a strange land? Slavery is designed to break men and thereby breaking apart the black, African, family. It is impossible to hold on to these belief systems when your wife and daughters are raped in front of you and there’s nothing you can do about it. Your manhood destroyed. Your sole purpose in life is just to survive. It is impossible to hold on to these values when you know that the reason your suffering is because your brothers sold you into slavery.

Africans must never forget that our actions caused the current plight of our brothers and sisters. Fostering these prejudices do not make life better for any of us. We have to love one another because we are cut from the same cloth. We are from the same land. When cops beat and kill our brothers, they don’t care if its Travon Martin or Mamadou Diallo. They don’t see the difference between Africans and African-Americans. They see black people. In the very moment that they are beating or killing Africans and African-Americans, all the prejudices and stereotypes that Africans place on black Americans and on us as well. Who’s the dummy now? We are all black people. We are all Africans. The sooner we start to love and help strengthen each other, and get rid of these stereotypes and prejudices, the better off we will all be.

FACEBOOK WILL ASK YOU TO VOTE AGAINST YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE

Facebook will hold a vote, possibly later this week, in which it will ask users to abolish their right to vote on changes to the social network’s privacy policies.

The social network announced last week that it was seeking comments on its proposal to take away its users’ right to vote on these sorts of changes. If 7,000 comments are received by Wednesday then Facebook, by its own rules, will hold a referendum on the topic.

That threshold appears to have been met — as of Monday morning, there were more than 12,000 comments on Facebook’s English-language post — which should trigger the third vote in the social network’s history. If Facebook handles the vote in the same way it has in the past, it could be held later this week or next.

Past voting periods have lasted seven days and took place on Facebook’s Site Governance page.

Facebook declined to elaborate on the matter, but the site explained its reasons for asking users to abolish their right to vote in a blog post last week.

“We deeply value the feedback we receive from you during our comment period,” writes Elliot Schrage, Facebook’s vice president for communications, public policy and marketing. “In the past, your substantive feedback has led to changes to the proposals we made. However, we found that the voting mechanism, which is triggered by a specific number of comments, actually resulted in a system that incentivized the quantity of comments over their quality.

“Therefore, we’re proposing to end the voting component of the process in favor of a system that leads to more meaningful feedback and engagement.”

Facebook argues it has outgrown the voting and commenting system that currently exists on the site. (One BuzzFeed writer notes that China might argue the same thing with regard to democracy.)

HOME WITH MY PARENTS FOR THANKSGIVING

image

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU AND YOURS. I came home to visit my parents in Salisbury, Maryland, for thanksgiving. I haven’t seen my parents in nearly 4 months, so its good to see and hang out with them. My mom has been cooking up a storm! I have to make sure not to over eat.

My parents are getting older, which is sad for me because I want them to live forever. I believe that this is every child’s fantasy, but it won’t come true. We will all die someday. For this reason, it is important to spend as much time as possible with them.

Even though there isn’t a damn thing to do in Salisbury, I like coming out here. It’s very quiet and it gives me a chance to reset my batteries. I get to workout, sleep and write. These are my favorite things to do. What are yours?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL

THANK YOU FOR WATCHING MY FILM, “A DOG NAMED GARY”

Ngo Okafor and Gary Thank you for watching

THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!!

It’s Saturday morning and I’m going through my regular morning routine of checking emails, checking up on the news from around the world and writing a blog. I also checked up on the stats for my film, “A Dog Named Gary” and found out that the views had gone over 700!! That is great number for a little film that I wrote and made. It would not have reached this number if it were not for your support.

I would like to use this forum and opportunity to thank you for watching “A Dog Named Gary” and giving it so many views. Every view counts, so continue to spread the word. If you haven’t seen it, here it again. I hope you enjoy it>>>>

SHARING IS CARING!! THANK YOU FOR WATCHING “A DOG NAMED GARY”

Sharing is caring. This old saying is true in every sense of the word. Thanks to all of you, who have taken the time to watch “A Dog Named Gary”. I know that you are extremely busy, so we truly appreciate you doing it. Thanks to you, our film now has  about 600 views, in just a few short days. The reason why the success of this film is so important is that it shows that anyone can do this. Anyone of us, regular folks, can make movies. If I can d it, you can do it too!!

You don’t need millions of dollars. You don’t need to wait to be cast in  someone else’s movie. You can make your own movie. Tyler Perry, who is a huge role model for me, did it.  He started out by producing and starring in his own plays and then moved on to making and starring in his own films. We can all do it. If you can tell a story and have no problems with working hard, you can make your own films. So, thank you again for watching “A Dog Named Gary”. Gary thank you also.

BLACK MALE MODEL IMAGES – EXCLUSIVE IMAGES FROM MY BRAND NEW SHOOT

It was a battle to wake up this morning. My bed would not let me get up. No matter how hard  I worked to get out, it kept pulling me back in! I finally won and that’s how I’m able to write this blog.

It’s been a challenge getting back to the level of leanness that I had before I started boxing. The body for boxing is designed differently from a body for modeling. The boxing boxing body is designed for performance, so it holds a little more body fat for power and protection. The modeling body on the other hand, just has to be muscular and super lean. No need for for power here. My fight has been to get leaner without losing my speed and power. I still do my boxing workouts everyday and I don’t want to lose my boxing edge for sparring.

I was finally able to acheive this and as luck would have it, a shoot came up with a top photographer yesterday and I think these two pictures show that I’m getting closer to my goal of being lean without losing power.

What do you think?

PICTURES: CHECK ME OUT AT THE UNICEF EVENT AT FRAMES NYC

Ngo OKafor at Unicef event at Frames NYC by Stephen Smith

A couple of nights ago, I attended charity event called “Art in Unusual Places” for UNICEF. Check out all the pictures below.

UNICEF photographer Yanick Dery and Frames bowling lounge partnered up to present this cool event. Frames  is a really cool bowling Lounge at 550 9th avenue, NYC. Bowling is so much fun and even though I suck at it, I always have a blast with friends while doing it. Frames Lounge hosted this charity event for guests to bowl for a good cause.

Fashion photographer Yanick Dery donated some of his photography to be auctioned off with all proceeds benefiting UNICEF. My friends and I enjoyed supporting the cause and shared drinks provided by Medea vodka.

I’m testing my new WordPress app on my Android phone. I’m curious to see if it works. I’m testing it on the gym floor at Peak Performance. Just another day in the gym. It’s the middle of the day at Peak Performance NYC and the gym floor is empty. Just the way I like it. Thanks to Matt Townsend of Townsend Fitness Systems for taking this picture. I worked on my chest today in addition to abs. I’ve been working on doing abs and cardio everyday. I think its working. I will share images soon. Stay tuned.

THIS TAKES SOME SERIOUS BALLS!! WILL YOU DO THIS?

I found this picture on Facebook and wanted to share it with you. I don’t think I have the balls to be in the same room as a Tiger, let alone pose for a picture, laying on a Tiger. More power to the brother in this picture. Will you be able to do this?

“NAKED BLACK JUSTICE” CAMPAIGN IS ART, NOT PORNOGRAPHY

Click the image to open in full size.I FOUND THIS ON LIPSTICK ALLEY. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS? CHECK OUT THE VIDEO BELOW AND READ MORE:

Here we go again. Someone is reporting us to Facebook for violating community standards, and this week’s example (last week it was a photo of an indigenous woman breastfeeding her child) had to do with a “Naked Black Justice” campaign that, quite frankly, was powerful and resonated with many (hundreds of likes and shares in about 30 minutes). Artististically, naked, nude black male and female models is an art form. We made sure the the image linked back to the campaign’s original link. We thought the message was amazing. The image is to the left:
This morning we logged into our Facebook and were told that this image violated its community standards. It was just a generic violation, we are sure it was automated, so we don’t know EXACTLY why the photo got taken down. Yet, we are thinking that it has to do with the “nudity” clause. According to Facebook, this is what they have to say about “violations,” in their own words:
Facebook reviews reports to determine whether or not the content violates our Terms of Use. We remove content that is considered obscene, violent, malicious or otherwise offensive. If you received a warning about an item that was taken down, then we have established that it violated these terms.

We would still like to know what is “obscene, violent, malicious, or otherwise obscene” about this image. The image is the start of a much-needed campaign to start destroying stereotypes about race and our perception of them. According to the campaign’s creator, this campaign is SUPPOSED to make you feel uncomfortable, to make you think, to make you act. We were not surprised that our community on Facebook (some of the smartest and most amazing people we know) resonated instantly with this image. Here is what the campaign’s creator has to say about his art:
This photography campaign was designed to bring attention to the issues of racism, prejudice and overall ignorance that has been impressed upon Black Americans. This is no longer just a statement…it has become a MOVEMENT to get others to understand that the world would be such a better place if we could just ERASE THE HATE!! Nudity was implemented to demonstrate the RAW REALITY of these issues…so if it causes you to become uncomfortable while viewing this…GOOD…maybe it will challenge you and others to take a stand against these injustices.

CHILDREN’S DAY IN NIGERIA: THE FIGHT CONTINUES

As Nigerian children celebrate 2012 Children’s Day on Sunday, it is sad to note that over 40 per cent of them will celebrate on the street; without access to basic education as economic and socio-cultural factors keep over 10.1 million of the 35.6 million children aged between six and 14, out of schools.

According to a report on out-of-school-children (OOSC) jointly anchored by the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), United Nations Institute of Statistics (UIS) and the Federal Ministry of Education for the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) which was presented in 2011, there is an increase in the number of OOSC.

While 12,531,414 boys and 12,130,673 girls aged six to 11 ought to be in primary schools, 3,366,138 (26.9 per cent) and 3,932,679 (32.4 per cent) of the boys and girls respectively, are not in school. This meant that of 24,662,087 children, 7,298,817 were not receiving formal education in the country three years ago. Also, 200,630 and 168,795 of the total boys and girls respectively, dropped out of school.

The report noted further that as at that date, 2,834,903 out of 10,912,131 boys and girls aged 12 to 14 who ought to be in junior secondary school (JSS), were not. A total of 625,993 dropped out of school. A breakdown of these figures showed that 5,543,223 boys were supposed to be in junior schools but 1,308,779 were not while 324,576 dropped out. Of 5,368,908 girls, 1,526,124 were not in school while 301,417 had dropped out.

Drop-out rate was higher in junior secondary school than in the primary school category. Of those children currently in primary school, less than one third will attend junior secondary school and even fewer will proceed to senior secondary.

The report noted that the problem of OOSC in both primary and junior secondary schools was more severe in all states of the three geo-political zones in the north than in the south.

The factors that kept the children out of schools were grouped into economic, socio-cultural and supply side barriers and bottlenecks. Government and political influence, especially in the capacity of government to implement education policies as well as politicisation of basic education, equally affected the magnitude of the problem.

Proffering solutions to the scourge, government was tasked to scale up existing conditional cash transfer to alleviate poverty in families linked to their enrolling children in schools; revive the school feeding programme or institute commodity voucher scheme for extremely poor families, enhance tax relief for low income earners, and adoption of child-friendly school initiatives must be undertaken.

Vanguard Learning sought the opinions of education experts on how the OOSC menace can be curbed.

Listing poverty, cultural and religious barriers in the north, poor quality of education leading to dissatisfaction from parents, and opportunity cost as parents would rather have their children make extra money through hawking than going to school as factors responsible for the high rate of OOSC, an Education Management Consultant, Mr. Wale Samuel, said this can be reduced with the re-introduction of the one meal per day scheme in schools; more sensitisation in the north and quality teacher training and remuneration.

Urging government to ensure that funds allocated for OOSC are used for the stated purpose, a teacher, Mrs. Mercy Anthony tasked government to provide job opportunities for their parents as education starts from the family.

For Mr. Paul Akinyemi, another teacher, “government can help get such children off the street by creating more opportunities for schooling and accommodation for such children. The vision for 2015 is possible only if the government starts early.”

Mr. Joshua Babayejo said “Nigerians should imbibe the culture of other countries that provide for children who are not financially strong. Many of these children have resources within them that can facilitate a better Nigeria some day.”

In the same vein, Pharmacist Ugochinyere Ogudu, a facilitator at the 2012 Children’s Day Youth Forum/Career Exhibition organised by the Lagos State Ministry of Education, urged parents to ensure that their children are planned for so as to make it easier for them to be properly cared for.

BRIAN BANKS, CALIFORNIA BLACK MALE’S RAPE CONVICTION THROWN OUT

I’m so tired of seeing stories like these. We say that we live in a color blind world, but that is so far from the truth. A girl falsely accused this black man of rape and he got sent to prison for a crime he did not commit. While in prison, his accuser was awarded an over $1 million civil settlement. How crazy is this?! Read more

(CNN) — Brian Banks was on “Cloud 10″ Friday, the first full day of the rest of his life, after he was exonerated of a rape he did not commit.

“Today, it started to sink in a little more,” Banks told CNN’s Ashleigh Banfield. “I am overwhelmed. I feel great.”

At age 17, fearing a potentially long sentence, the college football prospect followed the advice of his attorney and pleaded no contest to assaulting a Long Beach, California, high school classmate in 2002.

Banks maintained his innocence throughout nearly six years of imprisonment, subsequent probation and registration as a sex offender.

The case took an incredible twist when the alleged victim sent a Facebook friend request to Banks in early 2011.

According to the California Innocence Project, the woman later admitted that Banks had not kidnapped or raped her during a consensual encounter at Long Beach Polytechnic High School, where Banks was a middle linebacker with a scholarship offer from the University of Southern California.

An emotional Banks, 26, lowered his head and fought back tears Thursday when prosecutors said they were moving to have the conviction dismissed.

“We do not believe Mr. Banks did the crime he pled guilty to,” Deputy District Attorney Brentford Ferreira said after court. “Justice has been served.”

A judge concurred and tossed the conviction.

Rape conviction overturned

“I was overcome with relief but reminded of the pain and suffering I went through in prison and parole,” Banks said. “All the false accusations against me.”

Banks put bitterness aside, though, expressing no interest in taking legal action against the woman who recanted.

“For me, I just want to be positive. I want to be in a better position than what I was yesterday,” Banks said. “The only way that can happen is by eliminating any negative ill will or feelings toward anyone.”

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said Friday that it is not currently involved in any investigation of the woman.

“Our standard is beyond a reasonable doubt,” spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons said, referring further questions to Long Beach police.

Police spokeswoman Lisa Massacani said Friday that there was no current investigation.

According to CNN Los Angeles affiliate KTLA, the accuser won a $1.5 million settlement in a civil suit against the Long Beach Unified School District. She claimed that the school’s lax security provided an unsafe environment that led to the alleged rape.

It was not clear whether the school district will try to recoup any of the settlement. A message seeking comment was not immediately returned.

The California Innocence Project took up Banks’ case and went to court on his behalf, saying he and the woman never had sexual intercourse. The alleged victim expressed concern about having to return money she received in the civil suit, the group said.

The group’s director, Justin Brooks, said the Banks case is not uncommon. “Plea bargains have become the 95% solution.”

“Brian has learned that anger is going to eat you up,” Brooks said. “If we hadn’t gotten that recantation, Brian would have gone through this the rest of his life.”

Although he did not have the opportunity to play college football, Banks maintains a dream of playing for the National Football League.

“I’m hoping to draw the attention of some team that takes interest in my story, takes interest in my hard work and gives me an opportunity,” he told KTLA.

HOT SEX POSITIONS EVERY MAN SHOULD TRY

Ladies, as you know, it doesn’t take much for a man to reach orgasm. Sometimes it happens a little too fast. For females, it takes a bit longer and requires a bit more stuimulation. Well, I have put together some moves that will help get you that you that “O”.

Guys, whether your goal is to give her a blended orgasm or target her G-spot, focus on vaginal pleasure or hone in on her clitoris, I’ve rounded up four positions that will help you perform like a pro in between the sheets. Call your doctor, because it’s going to be a bumpy ride….Just kidding!!

For ultimate access to her clitoris, try: The Pretzel a.k.a. The Camel Ride

The sex position "The Pretzel"The Pretzel

How it works: Kneel and straddle her left leg while she’s lying on her left side. From here, she should bend her right leg around the right side of your waist—allowing full access to her vagina. This position is an upgrade from standard missionary because this sets you up for deeper penetration and allows you to slow your roll.  “Most women find sex much more pleasurable when it’s not just constant thrusting,” says Landa. So spend some time exploring her body.  This setup gives you complete access to her clitoris for manual stimulation. But don’t feel limited to solely hands on fun. Try withdrawing your penis and, while holding the shaft with your left hand, rub the head against her clitoris. Start out soft and slow, then as you increase speed and pressure, reinsert once you’ve brought her to the brink of an orgasm.

How it works: Position her on the edge of the bed, posing on all fours. As you stand behind her, have her arch her back so it lifts her butt upward. With your legs outside of hers, use your thighs to squeeze her knees together, which tightens her vagina around your penis. This position is ideal for G-spot stimulation and also gives you a great view of her curves.

For intensifying vaginal pleasure, you should try: The Flatiron a.k.a. Downward Dog

How it works: Have her lie face down on the bed with her knees slightly bent and hips slightly raised. For comfort, and to increase the angle of her hips, you can suggest placing a pillow under her lower abs. From here, enter her from behind and keep your weight off of her by propping yourself up with your arms. This position creates a snug fit—which intensifies her pleasure by making you feel larger to her. (A killer tip for you: You’ll last longer in this position if you switch to shallower thrusts and deeper breaths.)

The sex position "Pole Position"

The Pole Position

For optimal dual pleasure, you should try: The Pole Position a.k.a. Thighmaster

How it works: Lie on your back and bend one of your legs, keeping the other outstretched. Have her straddle the raised leg with a thigh on either side and then lower herself onto your member so that her back is facing you. From here, she should hold your knee and use it for support as she rocks up and down.

SEXY IS BACK FOR REAL! YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS

D’angelo was the inspiration for the cover of my first calendar and he is back!!

Click the image to open in full size.

It  looks as though D’Angelo is back and looking better than ever! He’s currently  featured in a 6 page feature in GQ Magazine’s June Issue, complete with new  photos and news that he may drop a new album this September (just in time for  The Grammy deadline). However, the article is quick to note that he has over 50  songs in the works and he is working at his own pace which could possibly mean, ‘don’t get your hopes up’. This will be his first album in 12 years. 12  YEARS!!!
In the article, D’Angelo addresses everything from rumors  surrounding his departure from the music scene (which somehow had everything to  do with D’Angelo’s ‘Untitled’ video) to his constant dreams about the late  artist Marvin Gaye. There’s also commentary from Quest Love, Chris Rock, (who  thinks that D’Angelo, Lauryn Hill, Chris Tucker and Dave Chapelle are all  hanging out on the island of, ‘What do we do with all of this talent’), D’Angelo’s ex Angie Stone and his former music director who claims the ‘Untitled’ video wasn’t about sex, but instead, his grandmother’s  cooking.
Check out a few interesting excerpts below:
D’Angelo  on the evil in music (Is he talking the Illuminati?) There’s  forces that are going on that I don’t think a lot of motherf-ckers that make  music today are aware of,” he says. “It’s deep. I’ve felt it. I’ve felt other  forces puling at me.” He stubs out his cigarette and leans toward me, taking my  hand. “This is a very powerful medium that we are involved in,” he says  gravely.” “I learned at an early age that what we were doing in the choir was  just as important as the preacher. It was a ministry in itself. We could stir  the pot, you know? The stage is our pulpit, and you can use all of the energy  and that music and the lights and the colors and the sound. But you know, you’ve  got to be careful.”

Paul Hunter (Director  of Untitled) on the video being misunderstood Most people think the ‘Untitled’ video was about sex, but my direction was completely opposite of  that. It was about his grandmother’s cooking. Think of your grandmother’s  greens, how it smelled in the kitchen. What did the yams and the fried chicken  taste like? That’s what I want you to express.” The video may have looked like  foreplay, but it was actually about family, Hunter insists-about  intimacy.
Later when I tell D’Angelo this, he says, “It’s so true: We  talked about the Holy Ghost and the church before that take. The veil is the  nudity and the sexuality. But what they’re really getting is the  spirit.
D’Angelo on the effects of the ‘Untitled’ video
One  time I got mad when a female threw money at me onstage, and that made me feel  like f-cked-up, and I threw the money back at her. I was like, ‘I’m not a  stripper.’
On the last day of the eight-month tour, Questlove says  D’Angelo told him, “Yo, man, I cannot wait until this f-cking tour is over. I’m  going to go in the woods, drink some hooch, grow a beard, and get fat.” Questlove thought he was joking. “I was like, ‘You’re a funny guy.’ And then it  started to happen. That’s how much he wanted to distance  himself.”
Angie Stone, the mother of one of D’Angelo’s kids detailed a  time that she had to wait in the wings while he walked in an awards show with  actress Vivica Fox.
Stone remembers an event in Manhatten in  September 1996 that was billed as Giorgio Armani’s tribute to D’Angelo.  Stone-thirteen years older than D-was three months pregnant with their son. They  headed to the event together in a limo, but as they neared the venue where D was  going to perform, it suddenly pulled over. He was asked to get into another car,  where he would be escorted by Vivica Fox,” Stone says, her voice breaking  slightly. The lissome Fox had just appeared with Will Smith in the blockbuster  Independence Day. “It was a Hollywood moment. They wanted a trophy girl. I had  to walk in behind them to flashing cameras. It started the wheels turning of  what was yet to come.
The magazine also cited past reports of Madonna  wanting a piece of D
When Madonna turned 39, she asked him to sing “Happy Birthday” at her party. One press report had her sitting on his lap and  French-kissing him. In fact, two sources say that ultimately D rebuffed her  advances at another gathering not long after. At that event, the sources say,  Madonna walked over and told a woman sitting next to D, “I think you’re in my  seat.” The woman got up. Madonna sat down and told him, “I’d like to know what  you’re thinking.” To which D replied, “I’m thinking you’re rude.”

FAKE WOMAN SEEKING REAL MAN

I found this image along with a quote that says:

” So let me get this straight…Women wear fake hair, Nails, Lashes, Contacts…Buy fake Tits, Lips, Ass, and Get Botox, but want a real Man? Good luck Finding That…”

I thought that the quote was very funny and very true. These thoughts run through many mens’ minds, but no one ever put it on paper. I think that this is very similar to people who use other people’s pictures, to date online. It’s all fake!

What are your thoughts on this?

ROBIN GIBBS OF THE BEE GEES DIES AT 62 AFTER A LONG BATTLE WITH CANCER

Who doesn’t remember John Travolta strutting down street in ‘Saturday Night Fever’?I remember listening to the Bee Gees as a kid. The music was amazing. The second that looped disco beat starts up and the infectious riff begins to strut you’re transported to a decade where flares, big chains and silk shirts open to the navel are embraced and desired. The feverishly high voices break out and suddenly we’re all John Travolta on the dance floor.

Their super high pitch stood out in my mind forever. News from London says that Robin Gibbs has died at 62 after a long battle with cancer.
