MICHELLE OBAMA ROLLS HER EYES AT REPUBLICAN JOHN BOENHER: WATCH THE VIDEO

I wonder what republican, John Boehner, said to make Michelle Obama roll her eyes at him. He has a history of going so hard against President Obama’s initiatives, so there’s probably no love lost between both families.

In this video, Michelle Obama Rolls Her Eyes at John Boehner at the Inauguration Day luncheon. Boehner was a guest at the White House for coffee before the ceremony, during which a lot of people noted that he looked like he could use a smoke break. Maybe he did on the way to the lunch, but the First Lady looks like she could use a break from all this quality time with the Speaker of the House.

JOHN OROZCO, BLACK MALE GYMNAST READY TO GRAB GOLD AT LONDON 2012 OLYMPICS

John Orozco won his first medal in gymnastics when he was 9. But he didn’t hold onto that medal for long, giving it to another boy in the competition who was in tears after being teased for a bad performance.

“He walked over to the kid that they were making fun of, and he said, ‘Here you go,’ and he took his medal off and put it around the kid and said, ‘One day you’ll be better than I am. Don’t cry,’ ” says his mother, Damaris Orozco, who still gets choked up recalling that gesture.

“That’s John. That’s what he does. It’s who he is.”

That same Puerto Rican boy from the Bronx is now 19 and has made it all the way to the London Olympics. His heart is set on winning a gold medal — this one for his country. He may be the best hope for a U.S. gold medal in gymnastics in 2012.

Damaris Orozco says that she and her husband, William, are thrilled but not surprised their son made the Olympic team. “When that little boy told us when he was 10 years old, ‘I want to go to 2012,’ we believed him.”

John Orozco started down the path to the Olympics when he was 7. His father, who was a sanitation worker, saw a flier offering free gymnastics classes and signed him up. Orozco has never looked back.

“The minute I stepped foot in the gym I just loved it. I knew it was what I wanted to do for a long time,” Orozco says.

His Olympic dream was inspired by the Hamm brothers at the 2004 Olympics.

By the time he was 14, he was fully committed to getting to the Games. “I said I really want to have that one day — to put the gold medal around my neck, waving to the crowd, knowing that all my hard work has paid off and my dream has come true,” he said.

Gymnastics wasn’t a popular pursuit for a kid from the Bronx, and he hasn’t forgotten the ridicule from schoolmates teasing him for “leaping around in ladies’ tights.”

“The minute I stepped foot in the gym I just loved it,” says John Orozco, who trained five or six days a week growing up.

“They just didn’t understand everything that went into gymnastics. All the work, all the hours, all the blood, sweat and tears.” Besides, he jokes, “Look at me. I’m 5-foot-5, 5-foot-4. Can you imagine me being a basketball player?”

To get the level of coaching her son required, his mother drove him to and from a gym in Chappaqua, New York, an hour away, often twice a day. By 9, he was training four hours daily five and often six days a week.

“When he needed it, we’d give him a day off, but he usually didn’t want to take a day off,” his former coach Carl Schrade says.

Schrade often trained Orozco for free since there wasn’t money to pay for coaching. “With a gymnast like that, you don’t think twice about it,” Schrade says.

Schrade started having big dreams for Orozco by the time the boy was 10. It’s rare to find the perfect balance of strength and grace in a boy, Schrade says, but on top of all that, you need discipline and drive, and he says Orozco had both.

JOHN TRAVOLTA SEXUAL BATTERY LAWSUIT DROPPED!

John Travolta is as cool as the other side of the pillow right now. All the sexual battery charges against him have been dropped. Find out more…..

The remaining plaintiff in the sexual battery lawsuit against John Travolta fired his lawyer, but the case could continue with another lawyer and another court, two lawyers told CNN on Thursday.

Gloria Allred confirmed Thursday that the plaintiff known as John Doe #2 has hired her to represent him and possibly file a new legal action against the actor.

“We believe that the lawsuit should be filed in another court and, therefore, the lawsuit that was on file was dismissed without prejudice,” she told CNN. “We will be conferring with our client regarding what will happen next in this case.”

Okorie Okorocha, the lawyer who initially filed the lawsuit in federal court last week, said his second client called him Thursday morning and said he was fired. He later learned Allred had been hired.

The suit, which accused the actor of groping two male massage therapists at hotels in Los Angeles and Atlanta in January, is being dismissed Thursday by Okorocha.

Travolta’s lawyer, Martin Singer, has called the allegations by both men “ridiculous.”

John Doe #1, who said that Travolta sexually harassed him at the Beverly Hills Hotel, hired Allred on Tuesday, just hours after he withdrew from Okorocha’s lawsuit.

Allred said Tuesday that she and John Doe #1 would discuss if a new lawsuit would be filed against Travolta.

“We are in the process of conferring with him regarding the next steps, which he may wish to take,” Allred said.

That dismissal was “without prejudice, which means that he is still legally entitled to file a lawsuit against John Travolta if he chooses,” Allred said.

There was no immediate reaction from Travolta’s lawyer to the latest developments.

John Doe #1 withdrew from the lawsuit after it was learned Travolta was in New York, not Los Angeles, on January 16, the day he had alleged the massage incident took place.

Okorocha told CNN the date should have been January 15, but the mistake would have hampered the chances of John Doe #2 in court. He also said “personality conflicts” with John Doe #1 contributed to the decision.

The lawyer insisted in a CNN interview Tuesday that he would “mop up” in the courtroom with the allegations made by John Doe #2.

Despite losing both clients, Okorocha told CNN Thursday that he still believes they “absolutely have cases” against the actor.

He accused Allred of stealing his clients, which she told CNN was “completely false.”

“Mr. Okorocha’s representations are false, outrageous and defamatory,” Allred said Wednesday. “John Doe 1 and John Doe 2 contacted my offices and neither I nor anyone in my law firm solicited either of these two clients. Both clients first called me and asked me to represent them.”

Allred said after practicing law for 37 years, she does not solicit clients.

“Clients come to me,” Allred said. “John Doe 1 and John Doe 2 called me without my having any contact with them whatsoever prior to their phone calls.”

She demanded that Okorocha retract “his false statements.”

“I value my reputation and will defend it vigorously both publicly and in court,” she said.

Okorocha, reached by Wednesday afternoon, said he had a text message exchange on Tuesday with his client saying he was called by Allred.

“I get the case to national prominence and then someone who only does press conferences and sideshows, and doesn’t actually go to court or do trials, just steps in and says, ‘I’ll take the clients,’” Okorocha said.

Okarocha predicted that Allred would quickly reach a settlement with Travolta that would include an agreement not to disclose its existence.

“I will find out what’s in that settlement and I will get my equitable share of that settlement, because I did the majority of the work to get to where we are,” he said.

Okarocha said there are two more people he represents who may become plaintiffs.

“If Travolta doesn’t take responsibility, I’m going to file those cases,” he said.

JOHN EDWARDS ACQUITTED OF FRAUD: FALL FROM GRACE COMPLETE

We all knew that John Edwards was not going to go to jail for his involvement in campaign finance fraud, but for a man who nearly entered the white house as the President of the United States, he has truly fallen.

Read More:

CNN) — The acquittal and mistrial in John Edwards’ campaign finance fraud trial completes a fall from grace that transformed the man who might have been president into one of the most vilified and lampooned political figures in the country.

The boyish-looking, smooth-talking lawyer and self-described “son of a millworker” was once known for rallying supporters with a populist mantra describing two Americas — the haves and have-nots.

Now he is best known for fathering a child in an extramarital affair while his wife Elizabeth battled incurable cancer and, according to prosecutors, scheming to use wealthy donors’ money to help him cover up his affair and hide his mistress from the public.

It was all so different five years ago, when Edwards could be heard preaching his populist prose to Iowa voters who eagerly packed into lumber barns, Veterans of Foreign Wars halls and restaurants across the state.

He had every reason to believe he could be president. He felt the country would let Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, both senators at the time with presidential ambitions of their own, destroy each other with negative campaigning.

And if the country wasn’t ready to elect a black man or a woman president, he would rise as the more experienced and safe nominee.

To many voters, Edwards was a fitting candidate to live in the White House and serve as president.

Instead, Edwards appeared in front of TV cameras Thursday and took responsibility for “my sins” after his federal corruption case ended in an acquittal and mistrial.

Prosecutors had accused Edwards of using almost $1 million in illegal campaign contributions to keep his pregnant mistress under wraps. But after more than 50 hours of deliberations, jurors cleared him of one of six counts and deadlocked on the rest.

Edwards, who turns 59 on June 10, argued that while his actions were wrong, they were not illegal.

Emerging from the courthouse with his parents and daughter at his side, he said that while he never believed he committed a crime, “I did an awful, awful lot that was wrong, and there is no one else responsible for my sins.”

Now a widower, he is the sole caregiver to his two youngest children by his late wife — Emma Claire, 13, and Jack, 11. The couple also raised two older children. Their son, Wade, died at age 16 in a 1996 road accident.

Daughter Cate Edwards Upham attended every day of her father’s four-week trial, sitting behind Edwards and next to her grandparents.

Edwards also provides financial support for his daughter with Rielle Hunter, his mistress from the campaign trail during his unsuccessful bid for the Democratic presidential nomination in the 2008 election.

A product of a working class family from South Carolina, Edwards got a law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1977. He became a successful trial lawyer representing claimants against large corporations and insurance companies.

He won his first, and only major, political race in 1998, unseating a Republican incumbent to become a U.S. senator from North Carolina.

2008: John Edwards admits affair

As a senator, Edwards reportedly made it onto a list of potential running mates for Al Gore in the 2000 presidential election. He didn’t make the ticket that time.

But before his first term ended, he was running for president and ended up as Sen. John Kerry’s running mate in 2004. Kerry lost to incumbent President George W. Bush.

Once running mates, Kerry and Edwards quickly severed their friendship after what was a disappointing election for Edwards. He quickly set his sights on Iowa, gearing up for another presidential bid in 2008.

Edwards met Hunter in early 2006 at a bar at the Regency Hotel in New York City. Hunter approached Edwards, not believing it was him. Later that evening, Edwards and Hunter met again, privately.

The man who constantly spoke about two Americas began living two lives.

The 40-something Hunter told Edwards that she could help his campaign. Edwards hired her to produce a few videos that would present the politician in a more relaxed manner. The videos were called “webisodes” and were posted to Edwards’ campaign site.

However, instead of showing Edwards in a new light, the flirtatious on-camera banter only highlighted just how close Edwards and Hunter had become.

Staffers began to suspect that Hunter had become more than a videographer to Edwards. That thought was fueled by Edwards’ directive that Hunter be allowed to travel with him whenever either of them insisted.

Josh Brumberger was Edwards’ chief of staff during the time Hunter traveled with the campaign. On several occasions, he talked to Edwards about Hunter’s involvement with the campaign.

One heated altercation ended with Edwards firing Brumberger, and by the fall of 2006, several longtime senior aides left the campaign amid Edwards’ refusal to end his relationship with Hunter, as detailed in “Game Change,” the book about the 2008 election.

On December 28, 2006, Edwards launched his presidential campaign in New Orleans against the backdrop of a city trying to rebuild and revive itself. He vowed to strengthen the middle class, progressively end poverty and tackle the longstanding Democratic health care platform.

But just as the campaign got off the ground, it hit turbulence. In March 2007, Elizabeth Edwards announced she had breast cancer for the second time, and it was incurable.

Still, they decided to continue with the campaign. And in the weeks after the devastating discovery, internal campaign polling showed Edwards surging ahead of rivals Clinton and Obama in Iowa.

Meanwhile, Hunter had become pregnant. And to complicate things, Edwards was swimming in a pool of bad press — he had received $400 haircuts and had made a six-figure salary working for a hedge fund that was linked to subprime lending and foreclosed homes.

Enter Rachel “Bunny” Mellon. The wealthy banking heiress and widow who was once a close friend of Jacqueline Kennedy had been a supporter of Edwards since the 2004 election.

After already contributing to Edwards the maximum allowed by law, Mellon provided additional money. According to court documents, between June 2007 and January 2008, Mellon allegedly wrote personal checks payable to a friend, hiding that she was giving money to Edwards.

The checks were made out to the wife of Edwards aide Andrew Young, in her maiden name, and were deposited into accounts controlled by her and Young. As Edwards and Young planned, Young allegedly used the money to provide Hunter with rent, furniture, care, living expenses, medical visits and prenatal care.

In total, the now 101-year-old Mellon gave Edwards seven checks ranging from $10,000 to $200,000.

On October 10, 2007, the National Enquirer ran its first story saying Edwards was having an affair.

The next day while campaigning in Summerton, South Carolina, Edwards denied the report, calling it “tabloid trash.”

With tabloid reporters and photographers chasing Hunter and publishing photos of her pregnant, a second wealthy donor came forward. Fred Baron, a wealthy Texas lawyer who is now deceased, was the national finance chair of the campaign.

Court documents show that from December 2007 to January 2008, Baron allegedly wrote nine checks ranging from $9,000 to $58,000. The money was used for Young to hide a pregnant Hunter from the media, as he falsely claimed paternity for her child. Baron’s money was used to charter a private jet for trips to Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Aspen, Colorado; San Diego and Santa Barbara, California.

Things weren’t faring better for Edwards on the campaign trail. He placed second in the Iowa caucuses, and following disappointing losses in New Hampshire and South Carolina, he ended his campaign for president on January 30, 2008.

Amid rumors in Democratic circles that he was secretly trying to broker a deal for vice president or attorney general in a Clinton or Obama administration, reporters remained persistent and continued to ask Edwards if he was having an affair.

In February 2008, Hunter’s and Edwards’ child was born.

Six months later, after repeated denials, Edwards admitted he had an affair with Hunter in an August 8 interview with ABC. When asked in the interview if he was the father of Hunter’s child, he responded, “That is absolutely not true.”

While his name was not on the birth certificate, Edwards would eventually claim paternity and apologize for denying the baby was his child.

In February 2009, the U.S. Department of Justice acknowledged they had opened an investigation on Edwards regarding campaign finances.

By this point, his more than 30-year marriage was falling apart. John and Elizabeth separated and lived apart until Elizabeth Edwards succumbed to breast cancer weeks before Christmas in 2010, with Edwards and their oldest daughter, Cate, at her bedside.

For Edwards, life got worse. After testimony from a cast of former staffers, including Hunter and Young — the latter having published a scandalous tell-all book — a grand jury indicted Edwards on June 3, 2011.

Edwards refused a plea bargain that would have given him a few months in prison but would have allowed him to keep his law license.

OKORIE OKOROCHA, NIGERIAN LAWYER, TAKES ON BIG HOLLYWOOD AND JOHN TRAVOLTA

He is up against one of the most famous lawyers in the United States. Marty Singer has represented countless stars, including A-listers Bruce Willis, Jim Carrey, Celine Dion, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. He is the guy you go to if you need a good lawyer for the stars (and can afford one) although it is safe to say that he has never had a case quite like this one.

In fact Travolta’s lawyer is already threatening to counter-sue Okorie Okorocha and the two clients who raised the allegations against John for bringing (they say) phony allegations to court:

“The problem in America is anyone can sue anyone. However, in this case this unidentified plaintiff [John Doe] and his lawyer will regret they filed this fabricated suit. We intend to sue both of them for malicious prosecution.”

But Okorocha has come back swinging for the fences:

“If Marty Singer thinks he can sue me on the validity of Mr. Travolta’s denials, and if he wants to file the lawsuit now, I will give him a waiver allowing him to proceed with it at this stage of the case, even though under California law he has to wait until he wins the case, and that absolutely won’t be happening. It will never happen, he won’t win, so we might as well get it over with now. Bring it on.”

Bring it on, indeed. So who is this David among lawyers, Okorie Okorocha?

Biography: He is a sexual harassment and employment discrimination attorney located in Pasadena, California, which is located in the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area. He works on sexual discrimination cases and other matters for a law firm that he partners with his brother. You can find it through their Twitter page here. As you can see, both of them could benefit from a visit to a hair-club for men.

Although he takes sexual harassment cases such as the massage scandal, Okorocha is mainly known for expertise in drunk driving cases. He has taken many DUI cases to trial, and won them, and is in fact a member of the California DUI Lawyers Association and an expert witness on the subject. You can see him strutting his stuff in the video below.

Okorie Okorocha has a bachelor of arts degree in 1999 from California State University, Northridge campus and a law degree from Whittier College in 2002. Neither of these are top of the line, but who needs gravitas when you are willing to go tooth and nail with the elite lawyersin the country.

By the way, Okorie is studying to obtain a master’s degree in forensic science from the University of Florida. That must be an on-line program because he can’t very well attend classes in Florida when he is practicing law in California.

According to his public profile, which you can find here, Okorie has nine years of litigation experience and he mentions spending more time in the courtroom that most other lawyers. He bills himself as California’s “most aggressive and prolific trial lawyer.”

That doesn’t bode well for Travolta. Usually the Hollywood stars want these things to go away quickly and quietly.

I really love the photo of the dashing looking Mr. Okorocha and his brother sitting between three lawyerly women with their hands on him. These gals are the sweet part of his legal team, accomplished attorneys in their own right.

So that is what we know about the John Travolta massage scandal lawyer. He is up against a Hollywood bigshot with a bigshot attorney, but Okorie Okorocha and his team is not shrinking from the fight.
